Since the opening of its exhibition space in 2012, at the 2-22 building in the heart of Montreal’s Quartier des Spectacles, Artexte has presented a multitude of exhibitions in relation to the documentation of contemporary art, print and art publishing, most of which have been produced through partnerships. In the spirit of artistic collectivity, Artexte collaborates with artists, researchers in residence and curators, both individuals and collectives, to present their work in relation to Artexte’s permanent collection.

Landscape colour photograph showing a detailed view of artist Guillaume Brisson-Darveau's studio. The foreground is occupied by a long white table covered almost entirely with sewing materials. In the centre of the photo, a grey sewing machine sits on top of the table. The background of the image is occupied by a variety of colourful garments, all unique. Arranged in three rows, from floor to ceiling, the pieces are strung together in a highly organised fashion. Each garment is marked with lettering, some short and some long, produced using a variety of printing and sewing techniques. January 17 – March 29, 2025
