Wikidata and the indexing of "care" in contemporary art

As part of the ongoing collaboration Art + Feminism X Artexte dedicated to editing intersectional “care” practices in contemporary art, we invite you to a Wikidata contributive matinée, as well as a collaborative independent work session. 

The Artexte Wiki Club is an initiative that aims to cultivate a more intimate space for collaboration, to weave links of care in the heart of our community over the course of our sessions. 

On the To do list :

  • Creating Wikidata elements 
  • Integrating the concepts of care on Wikidata  
  • Adding new names on the needs list 
  • On-going Wiki Support to work on current projects 

All levels of knowledge are welcome.

Participation and registration

To participate in this event (in person or online), we invite you to fill out the registration google form. This aims to ensure that we have all the necessary information relating to your participation before the day of the event, so that we can adapt to your specific needs. Register!

Bring your laptop and charger (charging stations will be available).

Artexte team members will be present all day to provide you with assistance, no matter your experience level. 

Accessibility and Hospitality

LSQ and ASL interpretation services are available on demand.

Artexte is a free and public space that is open to all. Our spaces, located on the 3rd floor, are accessible by elevator and our restrooms are partially adapted to be accessible to people with limited mobility and wheelchair users.

If you need further support or special arrangements, please mention it in the registration form. We will make everything possible so that your participation is comfortable and pleasant.

Kids are welcome! A play space will be dedicated to them. Let us know in advance so we can accommodate them accordingly.

Throughout the day, tea, coffee and snacks will be offered for a convivial moment.

Collective Care

In order to provide a safe and caring environment, hand sanitizer and masks will be available on-site. If you have flu symptoms, we strongly encourage you to participate online.
