Landscape black and white photo taken from a black metal shelf in the Artexte collection. The right and left sections of the photo are occupied by the open shelves of the documentary collection and the document storage boxes, in shades of grey and beige, which occupy all the available shelves. The black-painted floor reflects the neon lights that illuminate the row of shelves. At the end of the row is a partial view of the Artexte reading room. Wooden tables with documents on them suggest research in progress.

Artexte's annual fundraising campaign – 2024 edition

October 15 – November 29, 2024

Campaign’s goal: $6 000

Over the past 40 years, Artexte documentation centre has amassed a collection of over 36,000 printed documents. Artexte plays a unique role within the visual arts ecosystem by preserving a collective memory.

We are eager to continue our mission of contributing to the promotion, research, and experiment in contemporary visual art. As a veritable incubator of ideas, Artexte is a place of exchange and creativity.

It’s this mission that we want to preserve and enhance: to maintain the quality of our services to you, our public and users, and to ensure that we can continue to support artists, curators, and researchers.

Today, we are asking you to help Artexte continue to fulfill its mandate’s activities: our researcher-in-residence program, enriching our collection of print and digital documents, Artexte Editions, exhibitions, and educational activities that help activate the collection.

More specifically, this year, your donations will go towards:

  • Helping our collections and programming staff build and retain knowledge and expertise;
  • Improving our digital accessibility.

Support our mission at the heart of contemporary art!
