Bill Vazan: Ghosting

In this publication, Bill Vazan presents “idea impulses” as a major aspect of his work and reflects on the artist’s tools. Through retrospective texts, Burnett and Landry consider the artist’s drawings in relation to the rest of his work, stressing their specific function and status. Issues related to ecology, territory, marking, and scale are discussed. This book reproduces 156 drawings, watercolours, collages, and photomontages produced by Vazan between 1941 and 1984. French and English texts by David Burnett and Pierre Landry.
