Housing Justice and the Arts Today
Wednesday, March 25th from 6 pm to 8 pm
Artexte invites you to a gathering to address and discuss the realities of the housing crisis and gentrification in Montréal, co-presented by the Social Justice Centre at Concordia University.
This event aims to create space to consider stories, narratives and experiences of how these points of crisis in our city impact the arts and artists.
In addition to the panel, selected documents from the Artexte collection that speak to the issues being presented will be shared at the event to further discussions on the ways artists and artist-run centres have responded and at times contributed to the housing crisis and gentrification, past and present.
With speakers: Parker Mah, Jules Bugiel & David Austin
