Marie-Christine Ricignuolo is an actress and public speaker. Visually impaired since 2018 due to a rare genetic disorder, she has turned her journey into a creative force. A columnist and host at AMI-télé since 2021, she made her fiction debut in Vestiaires, a sketch series on Radio-Canada. In 2025, she was the protagonist and voice in the award-winning experimental short film Orbites by filmmaker Sarah Seené, a film inspired by her sensory experience of the world.
Marie-Christine collaborated with artist Marie Samuel Levasseur during her residency Interroger l’accès (MAC, OBORO, Spectrum Productions) on a project that is now featured in the exhibition Les chemins entre le mot et l’image. Marie-Christine is also part of the conversations recorded as part of the exhibition, that are available on the Artexte Spotify page.
