Research and writing residency program for Indigenous artists, curators and researchers 2025

Deadline: March 31, 2025

Thanks to the support of the Indigenous Arts Committee of the Conseil des arts de Montréal, Artexte is proud to launch a call for a research and writing residency on contemporary art. For a period of three to six months, Artexte invites an Indigenous artist, curator or researcher from any area of contemporary art practice to explore its collection of documentary resources, and to contribute to furthering knowledge and research on a subject related to current and recent interdisciplinary art practices. This residency also aims to support the selected resident in the development of their critical art writing practice.
