Cut | Paste - Collage workshop in the collection

For the 2018 edition of Nuit blanche à Montréal, presented in collaboration with the Casino de Montréal, join us for a collage workshop in our reading room, open to all ages. Through the use of different materials (magazines, papers, documents, photographs), the collage makes it possible to divert the initial intention behind the images, by creating new relations between them. A selection of collages from the Artexte collection will be presented by the librarians who will animate the activity. Music using the principles of sampling and sound collage will be broadcasted throughout the evening.
All materials are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring any personal items they wish to work with.
