April 22 – 24, 2016
Hangar 16 – Quai de l’Horloge
Old Port of Montreal
For this year’s edition of Papier, we will be offering two displays of documents from the collection. The first will be an extension of the exhibition at Artexte Yesterday was Once Tomorrow (or, A Brick is a Tool), focusing on magazines by artists and the second will highlight documents in our collection such as artist books, graphic art and printed art. Publications by Éditions Artextes and our new book bags featuring a work of Jo-Anne Balcaen will also be available for purchase.
Dedicated exclusively to the promotion of art on paper, Papier is one of the most important fairs of its kind in North America. The event is an important catalyst for the Canadian contemporary art market and constitutes a unique meeting ground for the greater public, art enthusiasts and professionals alike.
