On the walkways of the 2-22, facing Ste-Catherine street
MONTRÉAL MAGIQUE is phase 3 of Thierry Marceau’s project 1/100 de 2-22, J’aime Montréal et Montréal m’aime, the art and architecture integration work (1%) for the 2-22. This large-scale performative work created specifically for the 2-22 will occupy the enormous exterior glass-walled walkways that overlook the mythical corner of St-Catherine and St-Laurent streets with a series of tableaux vivants. Moving from children’s stories to video games, and keeping in mind Montreal’s red light district, powerful video projectors will cover the building with scenes in which the artist will perform and explore Montreal’s magic.
